David Hadley
President & Chief Executive Officer, Vice Chairman of the Board

David has overall responsibility for MXS. Prior to being appointed President & CEO in 2023, David had served as Vice Chairman of the Board since 2018 and was also EVP & Chief Operating Officer in 2019 – 2020. David founded Magnum Shelters in 2017 before he and his partners contributed that business to MXS in 2018 and he joined the MXS team.

Prior to Magnum, David had almost 30 years of experience as an investment banker, serial entrepreneur and investor. He worked in investment banking for BT Alex. Brown from 1986 to 1999, before founding and building boutique investment banking firm Hadley Partners from 1999 to 2014. Hadley Partners advised middle-market entrepreneurs on the growth, capitalization and ultimate sale of their businesses, completing over $2.6 billion in transactions. David has also served in the California State Legislature, elected to represent the South Bay region of Los Angeles, has been an adjunct professor and “legislator in residence” at the University of Southern California, and has published numerous public policy articles in major California media outlets. David received his MSc. from the London School of Economics and his BA from Dartmouth College.

James L. Dean
Co-founder, Vice President & Chief Operating Officer

Jim has been a leader of MXS since its founding in 2014. He is responsible for all production, procurement, quality and safety. From 2009 to 2014, Jim was the EVP and General Manager of the CellXion/Sabre Building Systems division of Sabre Industries where he was responsible for the P&L.  He led the growth of the division’s revenue from $66 million during the telecommunications “Great Recession” in 2009 to $127 million, and significantly grew EBITDA both in absolute dollar and margin terms.  Jim has extensive experience in manufacturing operations, distribution, business development and engineering with Android Industries (a Tier 1 automotive supplier) and in the Bell System (Western Electric, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and Avaya).  Jim received his BSME from Texas A&M University.

Jeffrey Hood
Co-founder, Vice President – Engineering & Business Development

Jeff has been the VP of Engineering & Business Development since joining MXS in 2014. He has 29 years of sales, business development, engineering, manufacturing and construction experience and expertise. Within the past 10 years, Jeff and his team of engineers and project managers have managed over $500 million in modular production for numerous diverse markets.

Prior to joining MXS, Jeff was with Cellxion/Sabre Industries from 1998 to 2014. He was responsible for engineering, design, production management, delivery and field installation for all Cellxion products. Jeff received his BSCET from Louisiana Tech University.

David Schoonover
Co-founder, Vice President – Global Sales & Marketing

David has been responsible for sales & marketing activities for MXS since he joined the company in 2014. He currently has three regional sales managers around the country that report to him (Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri), and with his role on the executive management team, he also services some “house accounts.”

From 2008 to 2014 David worked at Sabre Industries (Cellxion), initially as Director of Sales & Marketing but ultimately as VP of Sales & Field Services.  In addition to his oversight of the Third-Party Logistics (3PL) services group and field services division, he had responsibility for relationships and support of key telecommunications customers including Verizon Wireless, AT&T and U.S. Cellular. David was part of Xerox Corporation as a Sales & Solutions Executive specializing in hardware and software sales primarily in the Healthcare industry from 2003-2008. In 2002, David received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.

Genie Loftin
Vice President, Finance

Cynthia “Genie” Loftin has responsibility for all financial reporting, systems and personnel at MXS. She has over 36 years of business experience, including over 30 years of financial management as a VP, director, controller or manager.

From 2008 to 2013 Genie served as Director of Finance for the Cellxion division of Sabre, and was responsible for ensuring that the division had the financial systems to handle either a potential Sabre IPO or its ultimate sale to another private equity buyer. From 2013 to 2014 Genie was the Director of Finance for Schoonover Investments, and from there she became MXS’ first employee. Genie is a Certified Public Account (inactive status) and has a B.S. degree in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University.

Richard Vaitkus
Plant Manager

Mona Cross
Director of Supply Chain

Mona has been the Director of Supply Chain since MXS was formed in 2014. In her role, she directs the Purchasing, Receiving, Warehouse/Inventory Control, and Shipping departments. Over the last 20 years, Mona has lead supply chain operations across a wide range of business sectors, including modular manufacturing, automotive, and telecommunication industries. As a result, she has experience and understanding of supply chain methodologies and best practices from both Fortune 500 companies as well as small business enterprises.

Warren Mitchel
Director of Quality

Since joining the MXS team in 2014, Warren has been part of the leadership team serving as the Quality Director. His responsibilities include managing all the Quality Control Inspectors, maintaining the Quality Management System, and providing processes and documents that support product compliance for MXS’s customers. In his previous experience, Warren has worked at AT&T, Lucent Technologies, Avaya, Beaird Industries, and Sabre Industries (Cellxion) where his role has been in new product introduction engineering, product management systems engineering, manufacturing support and quality. He has obtained a Green Belt Certification in Six Sigma as well as certification from the American Concrete Institute. In 1982, Warren received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University, Geaux Tigers!

Michael Taylor
Director of Engineering Designs

Michael joined the Module X Solutions team in 2014 as Director of Engineering Design as part of the senior staff. Responsibilities include overseeing and implementing electrical, mechanical, and structural design as well as overseeing drafting. Prior to coming to MXS, Michael was the engineering manager at Sabre Industries for 5 years. He also served in the oil and gas industry, overseeing design and build out and maintenance for on shore drilling rigs. He was a partner in an electrical contracting company that performed residential, commercial, and industrial new builds and repair. Michael started his career with Fibrebond Corporation, where he worked on the plant floor in several different departments. During his 9.5 years of tenure there, he was also part of the electrical crew that wired the new plant after a devastasting fire. Additionally, he installed the automated Skako equipment and then was promoted and joined the Engineering department. Michael received his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University 1998.
